The Artists

In the 90s, I developed an interest in the work of the French Impressionists and began painting as a hobby, learning from books and magazines We moved to Timsbury in 2016, and I joined the TimsburyArtGroup which had been active for over 20 years with a substantial membership. I tried oils but preferred to paint in watercolour. What I particularly like about painting is that it concentrates the mind, and you lose yourself for 2 to 3 hours on the project. I don’t take the final painting too seriously, as I’ve enjoyed the painting process.
